Berryville Announces Open Date for New McDonald’s
12 July 2018 News
Berryville could get its first McDonald’s restaurant early next year.
The fast food chain will begin construction as early as October at a location its leasing at 420 McNeil Drive, just off of Lord Fairfax Highway near the Shop ‘n Save supermarket. Town Manager Keith Dalton announced at a Berryville Town Council meeting Tuesday night that McDonald’s has scheduled a tentative opening day of January 19th.
The location will have two drive thru lanes, and will be the only Berryville restaurant to offer that service. Christy Dunkle, Assistant Town Manager for Community Development and Operations, was quoted as saying that the building shouldn’t be an eyesore for the area because its exterior will look more like a Starbucks than a typical McDonald’s.
