Front Royal Police Department Experiencing Phone Line Issues
13 February 2018 News
The Front Royal Police Department’s phone lines stopped working for approximately 12 hours between the night of Friday, February 9th, and the following Saturday morning.
Chief Kahle Magalis was quoted as saying that the technical difficulties only affected non-emergency calls, as 911 calls are handled through the county dispatch center. The Department announced Saturday on Facebook that its phone line, 540-635-2111 is operational again, but a follow-up Facebook post that Monday acknowledged that there are still problems for some calls. The Front Royal Police Department encourages any citizens who are having trouble connecting to the department to either try again or try the Warren County Sheriff’s Office at 540-635-4128.
