Winchester Police Continue to Search for Suspect in Strong Arm Robbery Case

Winchester Police officers are asking the community for help in identifying the suspect in a strong-arm robbery that occurred at approximately 2:44 p.m. on September 13, in a parking lot located in the 1100 block of Berryville Avenue.

The victim told police that the suspect asked him for money, then grabbed his wallet and fled the scene.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s, of medium height, dressed in all black with a ball cap and a beard. Police conducted a K-9 search and recovered items that the suspect discarded as he fled the scene. Officers later reviewed video surveillance from a nearby business, and the suspect was last observed in the parking lot of Grafton School on Elm Street. The photographs below show the suspect along with images of clothing collected by officers that was worn by the suspect the day of the robbery.
