LFCC’s Knowledge to Work Portal & Adult Education Programs

5 October 2017

We were in the studio today with Lyda Kiser, Director of Grants & Title IX Coordinater for Lord Fairfax Community College along with Sharon Hetland, Regional Program Specialist for their Adult Education programs. Lyda filled us in on all the opportunities – mostly at no cost – for individuals, job seekers and business owners to learn and train their employees through their Knowledge to Work portal: https://www.knowledgetowork.com

Sharon talked about the college’s FREE adult education programs that help adults develop math, reading, and writing skills for employment, career advancement, and post-secondary education. You can get more information about those programs here: https://lfcc.edu/areas-of-study/need-my-ged/
