Tourism Tuesday: Shenandoah County Holiday Events
5 December 2017
We were in the studio with Kary Haun for Tourism Tuesday – Shenandoah County edition. Kary filled us in on details for Shenandoah Spirits Trail’s participation in the MetroCooking DC – The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show. She also brought us 4 tickets for Lonnie to give away on the air during the Afternoon Traffic Jam. (Congratulations Beth Hurley!)
We talked about the unique shopping opportunities available throughout Shenandoah County including antique shops like Still River Days Antiques in New Market, Spring Hollow Antiques in Woodstock, and the Strasburg Emporium in Strasburg. This weekend you can check out several open houses, workshops, wine tastings and events while shopping in the area at Natural Art Garden Center, The Pantry 117, Flea Market in Edinburg, Cave Ridge Vineyard & Winery, North Mountain Vineyard, and WIinery at Kindred Pointe.
