United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley’s A.L.I.C.E report on hunger

16 November 2017

We were on the bus today with Nadine Pottinga, President/CEO of the United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley to talk about their recently released Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed (ALICE) report. We specifically talked today about food insecurities in our surrounding 5-county community. Nadine gave us some stunning facts and statistics and some suggestions for how we can help those in need in our backyard(s). You can download the full report here: 17UW ALICE Report_VA
