Shenandoah Men’s Basketball won 80-78 in an overtime thriller against the Randolph Wildcats. Regulation ended with both teams tied at 72. Kwa McDonald led the Hornets offensive attack with 17 points and Chris Chaney recorded a double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. The men return to action this Saturday in a non-conference game against Penn State Altoona. You can catch that game here on the River 95.3
Army beat Navy for the second year in a row. The Cadets of West Point came out strong with a touchdown in the first quarter but surrendered 13 unanswered points to the mid-shipmen. Army would come back in the fourth quarter to take a one point lead.
Baker Mayfield — won the Hiesman trophy
Ravens lost to the Steelers on a last second field goal: 38-39
Eagles won over the Rams and clinched the NFC East but may have lost Carson Wentz for the year with a knee injury, which many are speculating to be a torn ACL
Redskins fell to the chargers 13-30. They were down big at the half but were very competitive throughout.
