Winchester Police Department hosts Cocoa with a Cop

30 November 2017 Community

The Winchester Police Department (WPD) will host a new program, Cocoa with a Cop, on Saturday, December 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley’s second-annual Photo with Santa event. This free event will be held in the Our Health Eagle Board Room at 329 North Cameron Street in Winchester.

As families wait to meet Santa, several Winchester Police officers will be in attendance offering hot cocoa and coloring with children. Cocoa with a Cop was inspired by the successful Coffee with a Cop and Color with a Cop events offered recently by the Winchester Police Department.

“We are excited to have another opportunity to meet and get to know local residents at this fun holiday event,” stated Chief John Piper.

The WPD Volunteers in Policing will also be participating to offer free child fingerprinting.
