2 For 2 Foundation attempt indoor ice rink and pool facility

The 2 For 2 Foundation announced the first of several fundraising events will be held today Mar. 17.

The Foundation is attempting to establish a fully functional indoor ice skating and pool facility in the region.

There is a lot of local support for such a facility as sponsors see the potential for community active, regional employment opportunity as well as economic impact.

Many of the local supporters have donated over $1,800 worth of gifts to be given away at today’s event.

The Foundation will be at the Armstrong Irish Dance Academy at 2261 Valley Ave. Winchester at 4 p.m. for the Pot of Gold fundraiser.

Later this year the Foundation will attempt to break 2 Guinness world records by creating the largest ice cream sandwich and largest human ice cream cone.
