Find out if Leo can raise the spirits of the town and maybe even those of the railroad’s curmudgeonly station manager when the Christmas Express comes to Trackside Theater.

Friday, November 30, 2018 – 7pm – 10pm
A holiday celebration for the whole family!
Join the Barns of Rose Hill after the Chrismas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Berryville, for hot cocoa, cookies, a film and a live concert featuring the music of A Charlie Brown Chistmas as played by The Eric Byrd Trio.
This is a free event! This event is a partnership with the Clarke County branch of the Handley Regional Library.
For almost two decades, The Eric Byrd Trio (EBT), pianist/vocalist Eric Byrd, bassist Bhagwan Khalsa, and drummer Alphonso Young, Jr., have traveled the world as enthusiastic ambassadors of jazz. Rooted in swing and be-bop, The Trio also embraces gospel and the blues as core elements of their expansive performance style. Their body of work spans seven unique studio and live recordings on which they shine as a Trio and as collaborators with an expanded 8-piece ensemble they call The Eric Byrd Trio: Brother Ray Band, in tribute to The Genius of Soul icon Ray Charles. On each recording, they take a rigorous, modern approach to standards as well as original compositions, playing with great acuity within the broad and rich jazz tradition.
Annual Clarke County Christmas Parade travels along Main Street from First Street near the railroad tracks west to Lincoln Avenue. After the parade, Santa will meet children at the John H. Enders Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company at 9 S. Buckmarsh St. (Parade rain date is Sunday, Dec. 2.) Contact parade organizer Donna Peake at 540-514-5730 or email@example.com.
The Clarke County Farmers’ Market will be hosting its first ever Christmas Market on Saturday, December 1st from 10 am until 2 pm at the John Rixey Moore Municipal Parking lot on Church Street in downtown Berryville. Many of your favorite Farmers’ Market vendors will be there along with Flavour Food truck and seasonal music by Sally Mae Foster!
This is the same day as the Christmas Parade in Berryville which will be at noon and Santa will be just down the street at Enders Firehouse. Stop by the market, pick up lunch or grab some hot cider and do some shopping.
