Prescription Drug Take Back Day

phone scam warning

Local city and county sheriffs’ departments are participating in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day today.

The goal of today’s event is not only to provide a safe and responsible way of disposing prescription drugs but also to educate the public on the misuse of prescription medications.

Keeping unused or outdated medication around could lead to them falling into the wrong hands and remember NOT to flush medications as certain kinds can be a danger to public health and the environment.
