Old Town celebrates 10th Annual Chocolate Escape
Today is Old Town Winchester’s 10th Annual Chocolate Escape.
From 2 pm to 5 pm today, over 20 different restaurants, retailers, and professional services will have specials, discounts, sales, and of course, chocolate.
This is a great opportunity to explore Old Town while getting some Valentine’s Day shopping done or make a reservation on the spot.
Follow the red heart-shaped balloons to help you spot the sweet deals.
Some of your favorite locations like 50/50 Taphouse, Kimberly’s, and Roma Old Town are participating.

WPD investigate hit and run
The Winchester Police Department is investigating a hit and run at Cody’s Auto on 32 West Cecil Street.
A white mini van possibly an older style Honda Odyssey or Dodge Caravan driven by a woman described as a petite Asian female caused property damage at the Cecil Street location and drove away.
Anyone with any information in the incident should contact the Winchester Police Department’s Officer Crosby.

Bowman Library hosts indoor plant clinic
Handley Regional Library System and the Northern Shenandoah Valley Master Gardeners are hosting an Indoor Plant Clinic at Bowman Library in Stephens City today from 11 am to 2 pm.
They will help teach you how to take care of the plants you already have and send you home with free easy-to-grow houseplants.
Different discussions will be led on topics like topiaries, propagating indoor plants, and growing orchids.
They will also have a children’s activity where they make their own nature creature and create a seed picture.
