Accident claims lives of two truckers

A multi-vehicle accident in Berkeley County, West Virginia Thursday morning took the lives of two truck drivers.

Two separate accidents involved four vehicles and two pedestrians.

The first accident resulted in two cars driving off the side of the interstate.

Two truck drivers were bystanders for the accident and were going to check on the passengers when another vehicle came and hit one of their tractor trailers which then crashed into the two men.

As a result of the second accident, 52 year old Adam Miller of Hagerstown, Maryland and Ashish Patel of Ontario, Canada lost their lives.

The driver was sent to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

The interstate closed for clean up and an investigation which lasted nearly seven hours .
