An Amazing response from the community at the January 28 Red Cross blood drive Thank You

The American Red Cross reports that Fern’s snow has really strained their resources.

Having responded to emergencies across 20 states due to the storm the American Red Cross has seriously depleted the blood supply.

The storm has already canceled more than 450 previously scheduled blood drives across every state the Red Cross serves.

That has caused the serious depletion of the blood supply with over 10,000 donations going uncollected.

The American Red Cross is in urgent need of blood donors at every collection opportunity.

Donors of all ages regardless of tattoos or sexual orientation are encouraged to give and find a blood drive covenant to them at redcrossblood.org.

Put in your zip code to find a blood drive at a time and location that suits you best.

The need is great and serious and if you can please give blood every 56 days and try to make that a habit.

An amazing response from the community after the call for donors at the January 28 blood drive at Middletown’s United Methodist Church Thank You.

We need to keep that momentum going and fill all available blood appointments to help the Red Cross who always help us.
