The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival is underway!

The celebration will affect numerous roads in the Old Town Winchester area and many area government offices will close to observe the local holiday.

Winchester City and Frederick County Government offices will close on Friday along with the Joint Judicial Center.

The Town of Berryville will close their offices at noon on Friday.

Road closures will be prevalent in the Old Town area on Friday and Saturday.

The Midway will close portions of Piccadilly and Loudoun Street.

The running events like the Bloomin Mile and Apple Blossom 10K will result in closures along the parade route and near Handley High School.

Sections of Handley Blvd, Valley Ave, and Jefferson Street will close Friday night for the Firework display.

WinReady transit will continue to operate but will have limited access downtown due to the closures.

The Laurel Ridge fixed routes will not run on May 3rd or 4th.

The festival would also like to remind patrons that pets are not allowed at ticketed events or on the Walking Mall for the duration of the celebration.
