W.VA. Fire Marshal suspects arson
The West Virginia State Fire Marshal has identified arson as the cause of two structure fires on Charles Town Road in Kearneysville around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
The fire resulted in the death of a West Virginia Air National Guard firefighter and injured three other firefighters.
It’s believed the fires, which were close to 3 miles apart were intentionally set.
A $5,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest.
