Authorities launch a statewide man hunt for escapees

Virginia Authorities announced a collective launch of a statewide man hunt with the State Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U. S. Marshal’s Service for two escapees from the Piedmont Regional Jail in Farmville.
The investigation and review of security footage revealed that Alder Marin-Sotelo and Bruce Callahan escaped over the past weekend.
Both men were federal detainees, Marin-Sotelo is a person of interest in the death of a North Carolina Deputy and Callahan was being held on federal narcotics charges.
Both men remain at large and could be dangerous.
Marin-Sotelo has ties to North Carolina and is a 26-year-old Hispanic male standing 5 feet 6 inches tall weighing approximately 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Callahan also has ties to North Carolina, is 44 years of age and stands 5 feet 10 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone seeing anyone matching either man’s description should call 911 immediately.
The two men may not be traveling together with a substantial reward offered for information leading to the two men being taken back into custody.
