How to dispose of Christmas Trees
26 December 2020 Winchester Frederick County News
Winchester Fire and Rescue Companies remind citizens to discard their Christmas tree as soon as the season is over.
Undecorated Christmas trees will be collected Jan. 6 and 13 in the City of Winchester.
Never burn your tree outside or especially never in the fireplace as excessive heat can damage both the firebox as well as the chimney, creating a fire hazard.
