BRNGTF conduct a drug arrest in Culpepper

An email from Virginia State Police (VSP) Public Information Officer Sergeant Brent Coffey confirms a drug arrest in Culpepper Virginia.

A two  month investigation was conducted by the Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force (BRNGTF) resulting in the arrest of two Culpepper men.

After the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of Paige Way in Culpepper authorities confiscated a number of drugs, weapons and currency.

An arrest of 29 year old James Robinson and 32 year old William Hawkins resulted in the operation.

Both Robinson and Hawkins have been charged with felony counts of possession with the intent to distribute a schedule 1 and 2 drug and one count for a schedule 3 drug.

The two man also face charges for possession of firearms while in possession of the schedule 1 and 2 drugs as well.

In all the two men were found in possession of with the intent to distribute over $15,000 worth of illegal drugs.

The pair are currently held without bond at the Culpepper County Jail.

The BRNGTF is composed of authorities from Culpepper, Fauquier, Orange, Rappahannock Counties as well as VSP.
