BRNGTF make a narcotics arrest

The Virginia State Police report by email that on Nov. 4 32-year-old Spicy D. Penn was arrested following the execution of a search warrant in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue in Culpeper.

The Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force (BRNGTF) seized an undisclosed amount of cocaine along with a firearm and almost $6,500 in currency.

Penn has been charged with one felony count of possession of a schedule one two drug.

Penn also faces a felony count of possession of a firearm while in possession of that drug.

Currently Penn is being held on a secured bond at Culpeper County jail.

The BRNGTF is composed of law enforcement from Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock Sheriff’s Offices.

Warrenton, Culpeper, Orange Police Departments and Virginia State Police also assist in the the BRNGTF.
