Camping for Hunger 2025 will last until November 22

Camping for Hunger 2025 in support of Front Royal Warren County C-CAP is in progress.

The staff, and management, of The River 953 and Fox Sports AM 1450 are living and broadcasting from the big yellow bus.

The bus is stationed at the Royal Plaza Shopping Center through November 22.

The objective is to collect non-perishable foods and monetary donations from the community through the morning of November 22.

Afterward all donations are delivered to C-CAP’s Kendrick Lane headquarters Front Royal.

Over 16 years of Camping for Hunger the generosity of  the community donated almost 217,000 pounds of food and almost $170,000 in cash and gift cards.

These efforts have supported C-CAP through the winter months and more.

Agencies and organizations across Warren County have united to help feed our friends and neighbors.

Warren County Fire and Rescue, Sheriff’s Office, and Government Center are engaged in friendly competitions regarding food collections.

Additionally drop-off locations are available throughout the community, look for the drop-off signs or find a location here.

The government shutdown, furloughs, and rising cost of necessities have caused a strain on some members of our communities this year.

The River 953, Fox Sports AM 1450, C-CAP could not fill the needs of those suffering without community support.

We are grateful to the community and agencies that help with the Camping for Hunger campaign.
