The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) reports the investigation of the theft of more than $12,000 worth of fuel.

Either credit card or default access code numbers were used for several diesel fuel pumps to steal the fuel between 2:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. on Mar. 6.

In those incidents the vehicles involved included a white tractor trailer with a blue stripe and ghost graphics.

It appears the identifying information was removed from that vehicle.

Other vehicles involved included a white dually pick up truck with a flatbed trailer another seen in video footage is a blue tractor trailer with a white trailer with tags not visible on any of the vehicles.

Pictures of the vehicles involved in the thefts are found here.

The Stephens City Police Department (SCPD) is also investigating a similar incident on Mar.13.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the CCSO or Winchester Frederick Clarke Crime Solvers.
