Central High School FCCLA Prepares Christmas Eve Meal for Community Families

The Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) chapter at Central High School put their skills to work on Christmas Eve, as they prepared a Spaghetti dinner for community families.

Most of the students are taking a Family and Consumer Science class which teaches them about food preparation.

Everything they learned was brought to life as they prepared over 50 meals for the Christmas Eve Meal Drive.

Central High School has a partnership with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank making the meal drive possible.

Along with the meal each family member was given a box of food courtesy of The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.

This is the second year of the food drive and Kerina Stottlemyer plans to keep it going.
