
Charges Pending in Serious Shenandoah Co. Crash

Charges are pending in a serious single-vehicle crash that occurred late last week in Shenandoah County.
According to the Virginia State Police, the crash took place Thursday afternoon on Route 11, just north of Route 672. 45-year-old Budd Fishel of Woodstock was driving his 1993 Dodge Spirit north on 11 when it crossed his vehicle crossed the center-line, ran off the left side of the road, and struck a tree. Fishel was not wearing his seat belt, and suffered serious injuries that required him to be flown to the UVA Medical Center. His passenger, 41-year-old Anne Bryant of Waynesboro, was also not wearing a seatbelt; she was transported to the Winchester Medical Center with serious injuries. As of now, the crash remains under investigation.
