City of Winchester announces July 3 event

The City of Winchester offers a new Independence day celebration Let Freedom Swing will be held July 3 begging at 3.

The event will be held at the Taylor Pavilion with the band RTG from 3 until 4:30 p.m..

From 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. attendees are invited to dine at the downtown restaurants.

Winchester Brew Works and Valerie Hill Vineyard will also be on site.

Then at 6 p.m. the Warrenton Swing Band The Silver Tones play until 9.

The event is free.
