Clarke County Supervisors announced the hiring of legal counsel to help to continue to oppose the proposed Valley North Transmission line.
The county has retained former Virginia Attorney General Richard Cullen heading the law firm Torridon Law to help prevent the Valley North Transmission line.
The law firm and the county will continue to present the facts to fight the proposed transmission line from entering Clarke County.
Thanks to citizens’ outpouring of opposition the course of action was taken.
The county supervisors will continue to protect the history, farmland, environment, and character of Clarke County.
