Clarke County Searching for New Administrator
Clarke County has begun its search for a new County Administrator.
Current County Administrator David Ash announced plans earlier this year to retire either at the end of 2019 or start of 2020. The county is advertising the position in order to find his successor, and has posted the administrator position onto its website’s employment page as well. Clarke’s County Administrator performs complex executive work directing programs and operations of the County government, and serves the citizens of Clarke County and their five elected members of the Board of Supervisors. Clarke County Board of Supervisors Chairman David Weiss will be accepting applications for the position, and it will remain open until filled with the county’s first review of candidates, beginning August 1, 2019.
