Clarke County welcomes Sen. Warner today 4/11

Senator Mark Warner announced by email that he will kick off a two-day tour of Virginia in Clarke County Apr. 11.

Warner will be at Audley Farm at 9:30 in the morning of Apr. 11 talking with agricultural leaders discussing concerns and issues facing agricultural communities.

Warner will have the Commissioner of the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services with him to discuss the comprehensive agricultural legislation that is up for reauthorization this year.

Representatives from the City of Winchester, Clarke, Frederick, Shenandoah and Warren Counties are expected to be on hand.

Warren will be moving on to Harrisonburg at noon after his visit in Clarke County where he will deliver $1 million for water infrastructure improvements.

The Senator is expected to be in Rockbridge County by 2:30 and then to Botetourt County by 4:30 Apr. 11.
