Community college classes to remain online this spring

21 September 2020 State News Covid19 Frederick County News

Virginia’s Community Colleges will continue to offer most classes online for the spring 2021 semester.

Chancellor of Virginia’s Community Colleges, Glenn DuBois, made the announcement last Friday, noting this approach “represents the safest and most prudent choice” amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some in-person classes will be held in the spring for short-term career credential and technical programs, just like the fall.

Nearly three-quarters of community courses are fully online this fall.
