
LFHD begins COVID-19 vaccinations

Points of distribution (PODS) will be opening as early as Monday Jan. 11 for vaccinations against Coronavirus.
The first POD opens Monday from 8 a.m. to noon at the Boyce Volunteer Fire Department Social Hall for those in the tier 1b population.
Tier 1b consists of those 75 and over, police and K-12 teachers and staff.
More PODS will be opening in the Lord Fairfax Health District valleyhealthlink.com opens Monday for times and locations for Tier 1b eligible people.
It is recommended that people register to reserve a time slot to be vaccinated.
Locations will be opening at Shenandoah Memorial, Warren Memorial, Page Memorial as well as the James R. Wilkins Jr. Athletics and Events Center at Shenandoah University.
