Dawn Graves of United Way Is Stepping Down

The executive director of United Way Front Royal – Warren County, Dawn Graves will be stepping down to relocate with her family to Texas. She has been the executive director since 2016. She accepted the job with United Way after about 20 years in the nonprofit sector. Under her direction United Way helped raise funds for nonprofits such as Blue Ridge Housing, the Laurel Center, and the St. Luke Community Clinic. In a recently published report, Graves said that she would like to work with United Way in the future as well as other nonprofits. Graves also indicated the members of the United Way Board would cover operations until a new executive director can be found.
