Del. Gilbert to Attend Page County Bridge Dedication
15th District Delegate Todd Gilbert will be coming to Page County tomorrow for a dedication ceremony.
The bridge dedication is being hosted by the Page County Board of Supervisors, with the assistance of the Virginia Department of Transportation. It comes after a resolution was passed by the Commonwealth Transportation Board in September to rename the Compton Creek Bridge, a part of Route 340. As of May 22, 2019, it will be named for United States Marine Corps Sergeant Richard T. Brumback, who was killed in action during World War II.
The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m., and is open to the public. Gilbert will be the keynote speaker, and other speakers will include Page County Board of Supervisors Chair Megan Phenix and Supervisor Mark Stroupe.
