December 17, 2019

RIVERMONT – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office announced that they have identified a deceased person that was found near Digs Landing.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a dead body in that area on Dec. 2. They investigated and found a deceased male that at that time could not be identified. Following an examination by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, it was determined that the male is Tristen Ryan Brinklow, a 20-year-old resident of Warren County. He was found in a green baseball style shirt that had blue sleeves and a blue pocket. He was also wearing black denim shorts.

Brinklow’s next of kin has been notified according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office. They did not release further details on the deceased or the investigation due to its continuing nature. The manner of death has still not been announced, but it is considered suspicious according to the Sheriff’s Office.  The death is considered an isolated incident.

Anyone with information pertinent to Brinklow’s death may contact Emily Young of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. She can be reached at 540-635-4128 or by email at invyoung@warrencountysheriff.org.
