Discovery Museum’s in-house summer camps to begin June 29
Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum announced its in-house summer camps will kickoff on June 29.
The camps will feature reduced sizes and are designed to follow current health and safety guidelines. The weeklong camps will be offered until August 14 with sessions from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 to 4 p.m. Enrollment in both morning and afternoon sessions is permitted.
Organized by age group, the camps cover an array of topics including nature, science and senses, art and animals, fiber arts, fairy tails and even Harry Potter.
Each half-day camp costs $125 for museum members or $145 for non-members. Discounts are offered to students who enroll in three or more camps. There are some camp scholarships available.
If something should change, the museum reserves the right to convert camps to virtual offerings.
