Donation Will Make Frederick Co. Trail Project Possible
A donation of land to Frederick County will make a new trail project possible.
The 6 acres were donated by Thomas G. Scully Jr., Katharine Scully Frazee, and Tucker Scully Ramaden. Located on Meade Drive and along Abrams Creek, Frederick County officials are making plans to use the land for a bicycle and pedestrian trail. The project will be divided into three phases, with the first taking the trail about a mile from Meade Drive to Woodstock Lane. The design phase of the project will start in July of 2020, and construction is expected to start in 2021.
