Downtown Winchester’s infrastructure project to resume Monday
Work will resume Monday on Winchester’s Central Downtown Infrastructure Improvements Project on North Loudoun Street between Wyck Street and North Avenue.
During construction, sections of North Loudoun Street will be closed to through traffic and parking for up to two blocks at a time.
Detour routes will be clearly marked and parking outside of the active work zone is required. Residents will be able to access their homes in the closed areas via sidewalks, which will remain open during this phase of the project. If vehicles remain in the construction zone by the time work starts Monday, July 27, they will be towed.
Work is expected to be completed within six to eight weeks, weather permitting.
