EDA board member resigns
Mark Baker recently resigned from his position on the Front Royal-Warren County Economic Development Authority board.
EDA board members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors and the county is now accepting applications for candidates to serve the remainder of Baker’s term, which expires Feb. 28, 2021. Baker did not give a reason for his resignation.
The county is also accepting applications for a four-year term that begins March 1. That position is held by EDA Chairman Ed Daley, who was appointed in November 2018 to fill out the remainder of Biggs’ term.
Applications are available on Warren County’s website or can be obtained at the county administrator’s office at 220 N. Commerce Ave. Details on how to submit the resumes are also available on the county’s website.
