Family Promise of Shenandoah County aims to stabilize housing
Family Promise of Shenandoah County’s Help Us Stabilize Housing (HUSH) initiative provides assistance to families in need. The HUSH initiative helps families pay for rent, utilities, car insurance, food, phone minutes, fuel for their vehicles and many other items. Assistance is available for those in our community who are in need at this time. If you or anyone you know needs a helping hand, please call 540-459-4599.
Many families are unable to handle just one crisis. With the advent of COVID-19, families are experiencing multiple crises at once. Family Promise continues to shelter families and provide love and support to family members during this time, as they have always done. Last year, Family Promise served 16 families and provided over 5,000 meals. If you are able and willing to help, donations can be made on their website.
