FCPS offers free summer meals
Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) offers a free meals program through the summer.
The program is for school aged children but they do not have to be enrolled in FCPS to receive the meals.
Starting Jun. 16 through Aug. 18 students can get a free meal box between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. every Wed..
Each box contains seven shelf stable breakfasts, seven shelf stable lunches and a gallon of milk.
Meal boxes are available at Apple Pie Ridge Elementary, Redbud Run Elementary Schools as well as Shernado High Schools.
