FCSO arrest a Winchester business owner/operator

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) announced the arrest of the owner and operator of the Winchester Skating and Family Fun Center.

Edgar Jackson was arrested on two counts of possession of child pornography and driving under the influence charges.

Jackson is also facing multiple allegations of taking indecent liberties with a minor.

Several former female employees of Jackson’s who are now adults asked authorities to look into the allegations.

After FCSO Criminal investigation division Officers interviewed the alleged victims a search warrant was issued and executed at the business at 1629 Berryville Ave. on Jan. 10.

Items of evidentiary value were seized including devices that contain photos of child pornography.

Based on those findings Investigators obtained two warrants for Jackson’s arrest.

On Jan. 13 Jackson was arrested by Deputies during a traffic stop on Martinsburg Pike.

At the time of the arrest Jackson was transporting a 16-year-old male and was also found to have a blood alcohol content above the legal limit.

At this report Jackson was being held without bond with the investigation continuing.

The offenses and allegations have been limited to juvenile employees of Jackson’s business and future charges are pending.
