FCSO opens an investigation into an abandon dog

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) Animal Control Division opened an investigation into an abandoned dog.

On Saturday October 21 Animal Control Office Deputy Riley responded to a report from a concerned citizen in the Macbeth Lane area.

The caller had taken in a dog after searching the neighborhood to try to find the owner.

During the search a witness stated that they saw a person in a dark green vehicle drop the dog off at the end of a driveway and leave.
