FCSO resolve a barricade situation

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) has charged John Redmond with domestic assault and violation of a protective order.

Redmond barricaded himself in a home on Brandy Lane Stephens City for as long as 3 hours.

Officials attempted to talk Redmond out but he refused.

It was reported to deputies that Redmond had been drinking and may have been armed.

Swat teams deployed chemical agents to flush Redmond out.

Authorities entered the home and arrested Redmond without further incident.
