F&M Bank donates $25,000 to Shenandoah County Disaster Impact Loan Program
F&M Bank has donated $25,000 to the Shenandoah County Local Disaster Impact Loan Program, which was created by the Shenandoah County Industrial Development Authority in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The IDA allocated $100,000 for Shenandoah County businesses to apply for interest-free loans of up to $5,000 to help cover operating expenses such as rent, payroll or utilities.
“With so many small businesses throughout the county, our IDA recognized that $100,000 would not be enough to reach every business in need,” said Jenna French, Director of Tourism & Economic Development, in a press release. “This donation from F&M Bank allows us to reach a several more businesses and will have a lasting impact on our community.”
Shenandoah County businesses seeking funding can downloaded the loan application here. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information.
