Former EDA Director Transferred to Fairfax Jail
Superintendent Russell W. Gilkison confirmed Thursday (6/13/2019) that McDonald, the subject of an ongoing criminal investigation, was transferred to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. McDonald was originally booked into RSW on May 24, 2019, after being arrested by state police, and faces two felony counts of fraud and two felony counts of embezzlement. She is also the subject of a civil suit filed by the EDA in March of 2019 that named eight other defendants, and alleges that millions of dollars worth of funds were misappropriated.
