Frederick County Man Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges

Colby Demetrius Keel has been sentenced to serve 20 years with 11 and a half suspended after pleading guilty to two counts of possession with intent to distribute Fentanyl and one count of distribution of Fentanyl, on May 23 in Frederick County court.
The charges stemmed from an April incident where the 41 year old injected a female individual with the drugs. She subsequently overdosed from the injection and was transported to Winchester Medical Center where she recovered from the incident.
With the suspended sentence, Keel will serve about seven and a half years in prison. Upon his release, he be on five years supervised probation.
