Frederick County Schools Celebrate National School Breakfast Week

10 March 2017 News

As part of National School Breakfast week, Frederick County Public Schools have been celebrating all week long and encouraging students to eat breakfast at school. Each day students at elementary and middle school levels received a free prize each day with the purchase of breakfast. Prizes included stickers, pencils, superhero masks, bookmarks, and wristbands.

Regarded as the most important meal of the day breakfast at Frederick County Schools is just $1.40 versus the $2.60-$2.85 price of lunch. Those students who qualify for free or reduced lunch also qualify for free or reduced breakfast.
