Frederick Co. Republicans Choose Nominees in Canvass
The results are in from Tuesday’s (4/30/2019) Republican Party Canvass in Frederick County.
The canvass was held by the Frederick County Republican Committee, and decided the party’s nominees for several local government positions. In last night’s competitive races, Seth Thatcher won the nomination for Commissioner of the Revenue, Allen Sibert beat out Scott Madigan for Frederick County Sheriff, Shawn Graber won over Jimmy Smith for the Back Creek District Supervisor nomination, and Charles S. DeHaven won support for his bid for Supervisors Chairman at Large. Now officially the Republican nominees, all of these candidates will compete in this year’s November 5th general election.
