Free First Friday is back at the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum.
Courtesy of the Bank of Clarke County, admission to the museum will be free this Friday, Aug. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The museum reopened to the public July 15 after months of being closed due to COVID-19. The museum has implemented operational changes and enhanced cleaning measures to comply with health and safety guidance.
Reservations are required for all visitors due to capacity limits. Time slots can be reserved by visiting this website.
Masks are required for all guests over the age of 5. Upon arrival, a museum staff member will take the temperature of all guests via a contactless forehead thermometer. In addition, social distancing dots have been placed six feet apart throughout the museum to help visitors maintain a safe distance from each other.
