Front Royal establishes it’s own EDA

front royal town hall

The Front Royal Town Council announced the establishment of a Front Royal Economic Development Authority (FREDA).

The Town is seeking applicants to serve as members of the board of Directors until March 31.

The Town Council does not believe the County’s EDA is in the position to perform with small businesses in town in need of recovery.

Having a Front Royal EDA will make it easier and quicker to improve the quality of life and appearance of Front Royal.

The challenges facing the current County EDA are significant and hamper the abilities to buy property for the county or town unless allowed by a bank due to their low creditworthiness.
