Front Royal extends the penalty date for paying taxes

The Town of Front Royal announced that personal property and real estate tax bills for the first half of 2023 were mailed out May 25.

The tax payment due date is June 5 however much like the County of Warren a grace period has been approved by the Town Council.

Penalties will not be imposed until after June 21.

Payment must be received by June 21 or postmarked with that date in order to be considered on time and not incur a penalty.

Due to circumstances beyond the town’s control bills were delayed for the first half of the year 2023.
